Can I rent a boat if I have no boating experience?

Yes, but if you were born after January 1, 1988, you will have to take the Florida Boating Safety Course.

Do I need a boating license?

No, but see the answer to question 1 above.

Is there an age limit to rent a boat?

You must be at least 21 years old to rent a boat from us.

How far can I go with the boat?

Our nautical mile restrictions are 25 miles in either direction parallel to the coast, and not more than ten miles offshore.

What if we have a problem while we are out on the water?

All boats come equipped with a VHF radio to call us at the marina on Channel 69 or the Coast Guard on Channel 16. All boats also come equipped with a membership to an emergency towing service.

Do I need a credit card to rent a boat?

Yes, we need to charge your credit card for the rental, as well as any gas charges, incidentals, or damage.

Do I need to make a reservation? How far in advance do I need to book?

You can make a reservation the same day as the rental, if we have a boat available for you. However, reservations in advance are encouraged to ensure your spot.

Do you offer delivery and pickup?

Yes, we offer delivery and pick-up of our boats for any rental more than one day. Be aware that there is a delivery fee for this service though.

Are dogs or pets allowed on your boats?

You are allowed to bring your animal friends on the boat, but be aware that any damage done to the boat (including punctured cushions from sharp toenails) will be charged to your credit card and boat repair is not cheap.

I am unfamiliar with the local waterways. Do you provide us with maps?

A map is included with your rental.
GPS systems are also included.

Can I rent fishing gear or other items from you?

Fishing tackle and family fun floats will be available to rent for those who do not bring their own.
